Pariposa Preschool offers the following enrichment programs as part of our core curriculum. The programs are conducted by our partners and trained professionals in house at no additional costs to parents.
Lego-education duck-learning
Pariposa preschool has partnered Duck Learning to offer LEGO® Education to preschoolers. Pariposa preschool is the first childcare centre to offer this program in Singapore as part of its curriculum.
LEGO® Education provides a unique ‘hands-on, minds-on’ environment that supports and enriches the entire learning process. This program is designed for children from the Playgroup to Kindergarten levels.
Research has shown that when we allow children to use multiple senses during the learning process, they have better chances of fully understanding and remembering what they have learned. We believe that more playful, creative and hands-on methods engage students of all abilities to achieve results.
LEGO® Education enrichment program at Pariposa is based on a specially designed curriculum packed full of fun and excitement! Your child will be immersed in a stimulating and engaging learning environment. They understand theory and connect it to the real world through practical experience. Your child will gain new knowledge, develop 21st century competencies and self-confidence. Course activity sheets are specially developed with graphic organizers to help students to think, internalize and reflect on what they have learnt.
GooeyGRAM focuses on learning language through Messy Play; an approach that is widely used by Western educators. Messy Play activities provide children with play-based sensorial experiences that encourage the active exploration of materials. This program is developed for the Playgroup to Nursery level.
PictoGRAM is an art programme that focuses on process-based learning. Our educator facilitates learning through helping the children conceptualize their works in the 2D and/or 3D forms, explore and express their works through different art mediums. Much of the curriculum is driven by the students themselves and many of their projects encompass the use of recycled materials. This program is developed for the Kindergarten level.

olly Music is based on the tried and tested principles of Hungarian composer and music educator Zoltán Kodály. Jolly Music is a structured and progressive programme for teaching music skills to children. It is a multi-sensory programme, with all the teaching done through singing. This approach enables children to become instant music makers without the need to learn how to play an instrument. This program is conducted by our Jolly Music trained professionals for all levels.
Jolly Phonics is a fun and child centred approach to teaching literacy through synthetic phonics. With actions for each of the 42 letter sounds, the multi-sensory method is very motivating for children and teachers, who can see their students achieve. The letter sounds are split into seven groups as shown below.
This program is conducted by our Jolly Phonics trained professionals for Nursery to Kindergarten.
Letterland is a unique, phonics-based approach to teaching reading, writing and spelling. The Letterland characters transform plain black letter shapes into child-friendly pictograms and they all live in an imaginary place called Letterland. Simple stories about the Letterland characters, explain the full range of dry phonics facts so that children are motivated to listen, to think and to learn. These stories explain letter sounds & shapes, allowing children to progress quickly to word building, reading and writing. This program is for Playgroups and Pre Nursery levels.
Growing with Mathematics (GWM) is an activity-based, integrated, and problem-solving approach to learning mathematics for students from Nursery level onwards. The program incorporates concept, computation & skill development as a major component thus maintaining a balance between concepts and skills.
