Vanja Karas is a London based multidisciplinary Serbian artist, working in print, in space and on screen

The essence of her work reflects on the timeless themes of impermanence, the irrevocable passing of time and transience as the core of our existence. Her works evoke conceptual vivacity, beauty and emotional poignancy often revisiting the major motifs of the old masters and still life translating them into the modern world.

Vanja Karas will be live in Singapore from Friday, 22 November – Sunday, 24 November at the Singapore Affordable Art fair

Prior to moving into the art world and since completing her MA at Kings College London and Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts Vanja has worked commercially as a Creative Director in design and advertising industries in London. She is now mainly focusing on her Art working in and exhibiting across a range of different media: photography, conceptual art, site-specific installation, sculpture, video art, textile design, print and VR.
