Cantemus Children’s Choir Feature Concert

After a successful inaugural launch last year, the Treble Voices Festival is back this year with not one but two full-length concerts celebrating the diverse sounds of the treble chorus.

This concert will feature the Cantemus Children’s Choir (founded in 1975 by Dénes Szabó). They are the multi international prize winning senior pupils’ choir of the Kodály Zoltán Primary School in Nyiregyháza, Hungary. Since its formation in 1975 the choir has achieved the highest of standards in choral performance and has traveled extensively to give concerts, compete, and take part in festivals in countries throughout Europe and the rest of the world – including Australia, Canada, Japan, Korea, South America and the United States of America.

They will be joined by the Festival Children’s Choir conducted by Children’s Choir of the World conductor – Maria Theresa Vizconde Roldan from the Philippines, and the Festival Youth Choir conducted by our Artistic Director Marcus Lee.
