Getting to Sentosa

Located only 10 to 20 minutes away from the heartland of Singapore, Sentosa Island is easily accessible by many modes of transportation of your preference.

From taking a casual stroll through the Sentosa Boardwalk to taking the Cable Car into the Island, there are many ways to get to The State of Fun.


Cable Car

Get into Sentosa by Cable Car and you will be rewarded with an aerial overview of Singapore’s city skyline, the harbour, and Sentosa island including Resorts World Sentosa and Universal Studios.

To get here, alight at Harbourfront MRT and take Exit B to Harbourfront Centre. Follow directional signs leading to Singapore Cable Car station at Harbourfront Tower II.

Walk

You can travel into Sentosa on foot via the Sentosa Boardwalk. It’s a leisurely stroll from VivoCity Shopping Mall’s waterfront promenade, made easy by two-way canopy-covered travellators.

Overlooking the bay, the Sentosa Boardwalk also boasts extensive vantage lookout points for guests to enjoy the sunset, arrival of cruise liners from the sea, and outdoor performances.

To get here, alight at Harbourfront MRT and make your way to VivoCity Lobby F, Level 1.


Cycle

As part of Sentosa’s efforts to preserve and enable the enjoyment of nature and the outdoors alongside the island’s development, cycling and pedestrian linkways are available for guests to move around the island in comfort and safety, and to explore Sentosa gems which can only be accessible on foot and bicycle. FREE entry for cyclists.


Drive

Guests who drive can enter the island via the Sentosa Gateway. Island Admission will be paid via the CashCard inserted in your in-vehicle unit (I.U.) for a smoother and hassle-free transaction.

Entry Fee for Goods/ Service Vehicles
A vehicle charge of $10 per entry will apply to Goods & Services Vehicles (Commercially-registered vehicles under LTA such as lorries, vans, and trucks) without valid and original delivery/purchase orders.

Goods & Services vehicles are allowed free entry on Mondays to Fridays (except Public Holidays) from 8 am to 6 pm.

Private Coaches
Coaches will be directed to the Guest Services for payment. Simply send a representative down to pay for the island admission charge at $2 per passenger. Thereafter, coaches are required to proceed to the Coach Park for boarding or alighting of passengers.

Carpark Charges
Parking lots can be found at Beach Station, Imbiah, Tanjong Beach, Palawan Beach, and Sentosa Cove Village Parks.

Time Charges
7 am – 5 pm | $1.20/hour *based on per-minute charging of $0.02/min
5.01 pm – 6.59 am | $2.40 /entry

MRT

Take the North-East Line or Circle Line and alight at the HarbourFront Station. From there, you may either take the Sentosa Express located at the 3rd level of VivoCity shopping mall (Lobby L) or take a leisurely stroll down along the Sentosa Boardwalk into Sentosa.

Hop on down for convenient access to the Imbiah attractions cluster.

Beach Station
Alight here to Palawan and Siloso Beach, pubs, restaurants, food court and many other foods and retail outlets.

Cycling

Enjoy the lush greenery and the scenic sights of Sentosa, and have fun discovering nooks and corners that you may never have known existed on Sentosa.

There are 3 interconnected cycling tracks with varying degrees of difficulty.

Route 1: Family Bonding – An easy route that runs on flat ground, mainly along the beach.
Route 2: Fun & Nature – A route with hills and bends, providing cyclists with a moderate workout that brings them to the Imbiah Hill and nature trails.
Route 3: Nature & Lifestyle – A challenging route that runs through steep slopes and dedicated on-road cycling lanes, leading to Sentosa Cove Village and Tanjong Beach.
