This light-hearted concert opens with three young harmonica soloists playing familiar classics accompanied on piano.

Throughout the entire concert, familiar movie themes and pop songs from the 1960s to 1980s will indulge our middle-aged audience, into re-living their youths during the tumultuous years of our country.
These songs are specially re-arranged for this Old Flames concert. We are very glad to have Singapore Tremolo Strings (STS) collaborating with our harmonica soloists to interpret these beautiful songs.
Harmonica ensemble is a unique format of harmonica playing, and we are delighted to stage three ensembles: TJ, SPRESSO and Symphonic Harmonica Ensemble. The audience will have the pleasure to see three distinct styles in harmonica ensemble performance.
The highlight of the concert is a guitar solo of a captivating Spanish fantasy theme “Vamo all Flamenco” (from Final Fantasy IX) accompanied by SPRESSO Harmonica Ensemble. This unique arrangement showcases classical guitar playing with different types of harmonicas, producing a charming effect of their combined colours and textures.
