Season Lineup:

Venture 4.0 by NUS Dance Synergy

Monday, 25 January – Sunday, 31 January 2021 | EMCC Virtual Stage

Distance. A word that has plagued us this past year.

Our bodies restricted, clustered, bubbles formed for safety, but at what expense? Can our hearts bridge the gaps when our bodies are not allowed to? Our desire to form bonds become conflicted as our situation pulls us apart – we hope for synergy in a time of isolation.

Venture is an arts incubation platform for emerging choreographers in dance. This year, in response to the theme “distance” the dancers of NUS Dance Synergy embarked on choreographic projects on videos – inviting us to come together in a shared reflection of the things that have come between us in this new normal.

Venture 4.0 is a 20-min production showcasing dance choreography videos by the dancers and choreographers of NUS Dance Synergy.
