Born and raised in Liverpool, Kyle Legacy operates in what seems to be a goofy haze, lifting audiences up to the same high spirits as himself, he made his first TV appearance on Russell Brand’s Brand X as a ‘Drunken Duncan’.

Revealing a skill for otherwordly interludes into the absurd, Kyle possesses a genuine childlike sense of wonder that’d put the Romantics to shame! Seeing the world as a baffling but very amusing place to be, Kyle is no rookie to the stage, with daily gigs in Sydney, Australia, as well as sell-out shows in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, and the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Originally from Liverpool, Kyle Legacy made up for his lack of musical talent by utilising his gift of the gab! Crowds all over the world hate to love him and love to hate him. He's been heckled on four continents and in over 12 languages, the Heckler Show is the only comedy show in Asia where you aren't just allowed to heckle, but encouraged to do so!

With his hard-hitting punchlines, effortless delivery, and witty material, Jinx was first-runner up at the 2011 Hong Kong International Comedy Competition and a Finalist in the America Meet World Global Comedy Competition (2014).

Comedy Central Asia’s ‘Comedian of the Month in June 2015, Jinx has also featured on Channel 5’s Ok Chope as well as ABC TV’s Comedy Up Late. A product of strict, conservative, Asian parents, Jinx’s comedy combines anti-authoritarian influences, attained from his studies in the US, as well as a fresh perspective, untouched by many comedians - let alone many Singaporeans.

Part of the new wave of American-inspired comedians, Leo Kearse has been taking the UK by storm! With regular weekend shows at The Comedy Store, Glee, and Top Secret, 2018 saw him tour over 20 countries, with all the big festivals comfortably in his comedy bag.

Having written for Sam Delaney's News Thing, Question Time, Breaking The News, and Mock The Week, Leo is also a prolific actor playing Mick Fleetwood in the ITV Drama 'Breaking the Band: Fleetwood Mac' and a lead role in the videogame Super Seduce 2. With close to half a million views on his Star Wars Spoof video, Leo is definitely a must-see act, promising punches that float like a butterfly and sting like a sea urchin.

Friday 22 & Saturday 23 November 1t 10:30 pm - Funny Business at The Merry Lion

Funny Business KL is very excited to be collaborating with the powerhouse of the Singapore comedy scene, The Merry Lion for a late-night show sure to be the place to be: Kuala Lumpur Invades.

This dual headliner show will be lead by the angriest funny man or the funniest angry man, Keren Bala Devan. Known for his hilarious rants, Keren makes being yelled at an enjoyable experience.

The second headliner of the night is self-proclaimed ‘banana’, Brian Tan. Brian's wit is sharp as a whip and can twist any everyday scenario to lay bare the absurdity within.

This show will also feature two of KL’s rising comedy stars, Jhonney Athie and Nuha.

Thai-Sabahan rojak Jhonney Athie is a deadpan comedian whose unique take on life is sure to tickle your funny bones. Humourous hijabi Nuha is on a mission to spread the gospel of halal humour.

Hosting this Laugh-fest will be none other than Singapore's very own, Jacky Ng.

Sunday, 24 November at 6 pm -『ぜんじろうのスタンダップコメディショーVol,2(オール日本語)」Zenjiro's Stand-up Comedy Show Vol. 2

Zenjiro, a Japanese comic, won the Bangkok International Comedy Competition in 2015 and made the finals of the 2016 Sacramento Stand-up Competition in the US. He has performed at comedy festivals around the world including Just for Laughs Festivals in Montreal, HBO US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Melbourne Comedy Festival, and Rotterdam Comedy Festival. In Britain Zenjiro was featured in Jonathan Ross' TV series Japanorama. This time Zenjiro do comedy in Japanese! It's the world of the absurd from Japan: an extreme combination of stand-up and physical comedy delivered with full force of Samurai power, arriving in a whirlwind of laughs direct from a sell-out Japan tour. Be warned!

Friday, 29 & Saturday, 30 November - Trevor Lock (UK)

Known for his surreal flights of fancy, Trevor Lock is a veteran of the comedy scene with close to 20 years of experience. Having toured with legends Stewart Lee and Russell Brand, Trevor is known for his stream of consciousness comedy where he takes audiences on whimsical journeys of improvised absurdity. The Scotsman once described Trevor as ‘funny, moving, and clever’, with the Irishmen saying the same.

Besides writing for, directing, and acting in various UK television and radio projects, Trevor followed in the footsteps of the Dalai Lama, Stephen Fry, and Kermit the Frog in addressing the world-famous Oxford Union, where he sought to disprove the oft-quoted ‘I think, therefore I am’ by pouring a glass of water over his head.
