The Light to Night Festival returns in January 2021! This festival will be celebrated across five Civic District cultural institutions!

Light to Night illuminates and excites the Civic District once again in 2021, this time offering a redefined, hybrid experience.

22 January 2021 – 31 January 2021 | Various timings | Various Location | Free Admission

Embark on an adventure of discovery with a delightful mix of digital and physical experiences within the Civic District and beyond. Enjoy art workshops, tune in to online talks, and even encounter art hidden in surprising places outside the historic precinct.

The theme of Light to Night 2021 “_____-in-Progress” invites us to focus on the process and journey towards a goal rather than a fixed destination. The Festival explores the idea of things evolving, growing, and being in flux. It showcases our progress and adaptability in the face of the new normal thrust upon us by Covid-19, actively engaging and inspiring audiences to discover and create personal interpretations of the theme through art.
