The Learning Forest features a network of boardwalks and elevated walkways that allow visitors to explore habitats ranging from a freshwater forest wetland to a lowland rainforest.
Visitors can learn about freshwater forest wetland ecosystems at the Keppel Discovery Wetlands and walk amongst a collection of some of the tallest tree species in Southeast Asia at the SPH Walk of Giants.
Opening Hours: 5 am – 12 midnight daily (the SPH Walk of Giants and Keppel Discovery Wetlands will be closed from 7 pm to 7 am to maintain a conducive habitat for wildlife) | Admission to the Learning Forest as well as the tour is free.
Free Saturday tours:
Every 2nd & 4th Saturday of the Month from 9 am – 10 am @Singapore Botanic Gardens, Visitor Services at Tyersall Gate
Registration: Visitor Services, Tyersall Gate (required 15 minutes before session starts)
Please note that registration will be done at the Learning Forest. The nearest parking is at Botany Centre (10min walk) or Tyersall Gate (2min walk limited parking)
Please note that no pets are allowed on this tour, as the route requires access on the elevated boardwalk.
