The Singapore Police guarantees that your 999 call will be answered within 10 seconds, and in urgent cases be on the scene within 15 minutes.

Please be considerate and leave the emergency hotline free for other serious victims to call. Nuisance 999 calls can delay responses to real emergencies!

Calling 995 in non-emergencies will result in a fine.
SCDF emergency ambulances will send the patients to the nearest public hospital and is free of charge only for emergency cases.

If an ambulance is required in non-emergency medical situations, dial 1777 for a non-SCDF ambulance. You will be able to choose which hospital to be taken, an ambulance fee will be charged
