The Food Bank Singapore is currently delivering over 10,000 cooked meals a day to Singapore’s vulnerable communities. We need your help to continue this program during the Covid-19 circuit breaker.
Feed the City – Take Away Edition
Our “Feed the City – Takeaway Version” uses your donations to purchase cooked meals at special rates from F&B partners (badly hit during the circuit breaker). Our volunteers then distribute these meals to children, vulnerable elderly, emergency cases, orphanage and elderly homes, and migrant workers throughout Singapore.
Over 200,000 cooked meals have already been delivered under the Feed the City Program, and we need your support to continue.
The Food Bank Singapore is an IPC status charity and has been approved as an essential service during the circuit breaker.
Positions
We are looking for reliable volunteers based on the needs on the ground that are available to commit at least 5 days a week (including on weekends) during the circuit breaker measures to manage and coordinate our Feed the City meal delivery program and assist in putting together food bundles and emergency food aid.
This will include picking up and delivering cooked meals, packing and delivering emergency rations, and packing and delivering family food bundles.
