About Earth Hour 2019

Earth Hour is a worldwide movement organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). The event is held annually encouraging individuals, communities, and businesses to turn off non-essential electric lights for one hour, from 8:30 to 9:30 pm on the last Saturday of March, as a symbol of commitment to the planet.

WWF Singapore is organising a 3-day festival around Earth Hour 2019. The theme for this year is to bring the whole of Singapore together and create a national community For Nature. The festival intends to help people reflect on their lifestyle and consumption choices and how it has left nature globally in a detrimental state. Earth Hour 2019 wants to build a city that comes together to change our lifestyle and consume more sustainably For Nature.
