About Kamini Ramachandran
Kamini Ramachandran is a master storyteller with a deep knowledge and vast repertoire of the Asian oral tradition. Through her work in MoonShadow Stories she pioneered storytelling for adult audiences because she believes that if the beauty and wonder of storytelling can be reintroduced to adults, then children will benefit. She is founding director of The Storytelling Centre Ltd, a non-profit arts organization that advances the art of storytelling through the Young Storytellers Mentorship Programme. She is also creative producer of StoryFest Singapore and teaches storytelling at LASALLE.
A storytelling artist with a focus on culture and heritage Kamini is an experienced educator and storyteller for museum-based learning and site-specific performances. Recently she was commissioned by SIFA to produce The Hidden, a roving storytelling experience centred at The Armenian Church.
