The voice of Mexico. Hosted by Singapore Latin American Arts and Cultural Centre

A multi-instrumentalist of Mexican folkloric music, composer, arranger, singer, producer and even an actor of the movie “Frida” with Salma Hayek, Ernesto has dedicated his life to representing the tradition of Mexican music with a contemporary approach.

He has played with the most relevant Mexican singers, recorded and produced uncountable number of CDs, one, among many others for the Colombian singer Shakira, and he is currently performing in concerts and festivals with his own projects, in USA, Europe and Latin America and as a musical director of the Popular singer Natalia Lafourcade.

We have his beautiful music for the fifth time in Singapore.
Mariachi Viva Mexico was founded by Jose Manuel Pimentel, Mario López and Alina Ramírez originally from Mexico in 2017 with the aim of playing authentic Mariachi music.

With the real folkloric instruments such as Guitarron and vihuela and the original costumes the mariachi transport you to the streets of Guadalajara Mexico where the mariachi is originally from.

The Mariachi has performed in festivals and all main Latin American celebrations in Singapore such as the Gala ball of the Latin American chamber of commerce and the festival “Dia de Muertos”
