About Chef Payal

Payal is a passionate chef of south-east Asian cuisine, author of a cookbook and currently working as cooking instructor and catering chef at Commune Kitchen Singapore. Prior to Singapore she worked as an independent cooking instructor and as chef for an online supermarket in Shanghai.

Over the years, she has developed several popular food brands in Shanghai and is now working on the same in Singapore.

Payal believes in cooking like her grandma did, from pure and unprocessed ingredients. She talks about going back to the basics using little tips and tricks and making cookery a real joy. She will teach you how to cook real food!
