Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a culturally rich Mexican tradition celebrated throughout Mexico.
It is acknowledged around the world in other cultures.
The holiday focuses on the gathering of family and friends to remember and celebrate the lives of those who have passed on.
It is listed in UNESCO’s list of Intangible Cultural Heritages.

Dia De Muertos is unlike any holiday where mourning is exchanged for celebration.
This weekend at La Salsa, we would like to do our part to honour family, dead and alive. With scrumptious classic Mexican homemade dishes and native cocktails such as the Margarita and Paloma. Enjoy the evening with the gift of music and love. Share your kind wishes to the departed through personalised messages and crafty colouring activities for the kids that will be hang around our premise, get your faces painted to get in the mood and have your pictures taken. It’s a family affair this weekend!

On 2nd of November, Chimichanga celebrates the day of the dead with a twist, we celebrate the life of the deceased that has inspired us. We will be displaying our very own ‘Ofrendas’.
